I'm-a-Freshman-in-College
If you are a freshman already on campus, joining ROTC is still an option, and campus based scholarships may be available. The US Army offers 2, 3, and 3.5 year scholarships for tuition and fees OR room and board. This also includes $1,200 per year for textbooks see the Scholarship and Enrollment Counselor.

Campus Based Scholarships: Do not be discouraged if you are not initially awarded a National Scholarship. There are campus-based scholarships available that the ROTC department can award. These may be 4yr scholarships or three year advance designee scholarships. These are similarly competitive. These campus based scholarships are normally awarded to the most well deserving cadets. These scholarships include National Guard and Reserve Forces Duty Scholarships, which make one eligible to serve part time in the Army National Guard or Army Reserve while pursuing a civilian career immediately after graduation.
In order to join or try our program, you must register for the Military Science class and the Leadership Laboratory.
If you have questions regarding the Army ROTC application process, are interested in joining our program or trying it out, please contact our Scholarship and Enrollment Counselor:
