Memories of Heart Mountain: A Guest Lecture by Sam Mihara

Former Heart Mountain Japanese Internment Camp Prisoner and Rocket Scientist

Sam Mihara is a second generation Japanese American. He and his family were forced to move into an internment camp in North Wyoming after the United States entered World War II. Mr. Mihara’s presentation will give audience members the opportunity to hear how discrimination and intolerance can affect the lives of those in targeted communities. Please join us for an exciting lecture and example of living history.
