Korean Speech Video Contest
The University of Texas at Austin and the Austin Korean School are proud to partner to bring you this contest.
Rules:
1) Each participant should upload a video no more than 5 minutes long of themselves giving a speech in Korean on the topic “Korea in Texas” to the contest website by January 23, 2026.
2) Videos will be judged in two divisions: one for University of Texas undergraduates in the Korean language program and one for Austin Korean School students in grades 1-9.
3) There will be prizes up to $1000 for the top three videos in each division.
Directions:
1) Your video of up to five minutes long, should be of you giving a speech in Korean on the topic "Korea in Texas." Beyond that, the topic and details are up to you!
2) Upload your video to either the UT student division or the Austin Korean School student division using one of the links provided below.
3) Complete the Contestant Information Form using the form linked here.

Prizes of up to $1000 will be awarded to the top three contestants in each division. Please note that in order to receive a prize, we will need to request your permanent mailing address and U.S. Social Security number. For AKS students, these can optionally be those of a parent or guardian.
