Liberal Arts Career Services Scholarship for Nonprofit Internships

Liberal Arts Career Services is excited to offer scholarships in support of Liberal Arts students participating in unpaid nonprofit internships.

Scholarships

Scholarships in the amount of $1000 each will be granted to selected recipients.

Student Applicant Criteria

Students who meet the following criteria are invited to apply:

  • degree seeking Liberal Arts undergraduate major;
  • must have demonstrated financial need;
  • 30+ UT credit hours completed by the end of the semester prior to the start of the internship

In addition to meeting the criteria above, international students must receive work authorization for the internship from the International Office to be eligible.

Because the intent of this scholarship is to help students who would otherwise not have the means to do an unpaid nonprofit internship, students receiving internship funding or stipend(s) through other organizations are not eligible.

We also recommend that all students check with the financial aid office regarding how accepting this scholarship could potentially affect their financial aid package.
