Australian Humanities Review
Peer-reviewed interdisciplinary electronic journal on Australia published quarterly with regular updates every two weeks.

Journal of Australian Studies
First published in 1977, JAS is the journal of the International Australian Studies Association.  JAS is a fully refereed international quarterly, which publishes scholarly articles and reviews on Australian culture, society, politics, history, and literature. 

Journal of Australian, Canadian, and Aotearoa New Zealand Studies
Peer-reviewed, open access, online journal that provides multi and interdisciplinary perspectives including history, politics, law, literature, anthropology, and Indigenous studies concerning Australia, Canada, and/or Aotearoa New Zealand with a special focus on comparative literature regarding two or more of these countries. It is the journal of the Australian, Canadian, and New Zealand Studies Network.

Australian Journal of Politics and History 
The journal publishes papers addressing significant problems of interest to those working in the fields of history, political science, and international relations. While the journal has a primary focus on Australian politics and Australian history, submissions on broader dynamics of international politics or case studies examining key issues of politics and/or history in different empirical sites are welcomed. 

The Australian Journal of Political Science
The official journal of the Australian Political Studies Association publishes 4 issues per year. International in its outlook, readership, and content, AJPS publishes high-quality articles and review articles dealing with either a set of books or emerging themes in political studies.


Antipodes
Antipodes is the official publication of the American Association of Australasian Literary Studies. The journal is published in June and December of each year. The journal welcomes critical essays on any aspect of Australian and New Zealand literature and culture, and comparative studies. Additionally, Antipodes publishes short fiction, excerpts from novels, drama, and poetry written by Australian and New Zealand authors. 

The Journal of New Zealand Studies 
JNZS is a peer-reviewed multidisciplinary journal published by the Stout Research Centre for New Zealand StudiesJNZS is published online twice a year, in June and December. 

The Journal of New Zealand & Pacific Studies 
The journal is a trans-disciplinary publication focusing on the range of issues and subjects which are relevant to New Zealand and Pacific studies, with a priority for the latter given to Polynesia and the South Pacific. The journal is sponsored by the New Zealand Studies Association and hosted by the University of Vienna

Australian Historical Studies
First issued in 1940 and supported by the University of Melbourne, the journal is the oldest historical journal in Australia. It publishes original articles relating to all aspects of Australian history.

Kōtare: New Zealand Notes and Queries
The journal is devoted to New Zealand literature, literary history, and literary criticism. It particularly welcomes submissions that have some basis in archival research and scholarship and criticism arising from newly discovered sources.

The Australian Journal of Public Administration
First published in 1937, the journal aims to further research in public administration, public management, and public policy in Australia. The journal is published quarterly by the Institute of Public Administration Australia.

Political Science
Founded in 1948, the academic journal is published by the Political Science and International Relations Programme at the Victoria University of Wellington, in affiliation with the New Zealand Political Studies Association. The journal publishes articles with a comparative or international approach, focusing on the Asia-Pacific region.

Media International Australia
Founded in 1976, MIA is an academic journal published in affiliation with the Australian and New Zealand Communication Association Inc. The journal publishes research and reviews about media, telecommunications, and cultural industries, policies, and practices with a primary focus on Australia and New Zealand.
Communication Research and Practice
CRP is an academic journal issued with support by the Australian and New Zealand Communication Association Inc.  CRP publishes research relating to communications practice and theory. The journal has an interest in supporting the work of researchers from Australia, Aotearoa New Zealand, and the Asia-Pacific region.


The Journal of the European Association for Studies of Australia
Founded in 2009, JEASA is an open-access online journal published twice a year by the European Association for the Studies of Australia. JEASA accepts articles relating to Australian Studies and especially those with a European component.
