Yacker Newsletter

In the fall of 1989, the Center began to publish a biannual newsletter called Yacker. The newsletter, which is written and edited by Center staff, provides information about the Center's programs and activities, and related University events. It was regularly published in the fall and spring of each year until 2014, when Yacker took a hiatus. We are pleased to announce that publication of Yacker will recommence in May 2020.

What does "yacker" mean, exactly? The Macquarie Dictionary defines "yacker" as a noun for idle, imitative talk. In their typically self-deprecating fashion, Australians might well apply this word equally to serious talk as well as to idle chatter.

You can subscribe to Yacker by clicking the button below. If, in addition to Yacker, you would also like to receive announcements about Center events, then please email edwardaclarkcenter@gmail.com
