Transcript-recognized Minor in Core Texts and Ideas

Applicable to students under the 2016-2018 catalog and subsequent catalogs

Requirements: Fifteen hours of coursework in Core Texts and Ideas, including at least six hours of upper-division coursework.

The transcript-recognized undergraduate academic minor must be completed in conjunction with an undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin. Core Texts and Ideas Minor (Old Catalogs)

Applicable to students under the 2010-2012, 2012-2014 and 2014-2016 catalogs

Requirements: Twelve hours of coursework in Core Texas and Ideas, including at least six hours of upper-division coursework and at least six hours in residence. Minors under these catalogs do not appear on the transcript.
