At the undergraduate level our core curriculum includes: Introduction to WGS, Feminist Research Methods, Feminist Theory and Senior Seminar. At the grad level, it includes Grad Writing Seminar, Research Methods, and Feminist Theories.
  • How many professors are core faculty members in your program/department? How many are affiliated?  
258 faculty affiliates, including 74 Core Faculty with  0% appointments in WGS. Of these Seventy-Four 41 are Core Teaching faculty.  More about these categories: 
  • What are the specific requirements for graduation for minors, majors, and/or graduate students (i.e, capstone, special projects, thesis, etc.)?
Minors: 15 to 18 hours see course requirements here: Majors: Degree plan found at the bottom of this page: The WGS major requires a senior seminar, and a one-semester thesis or internship. Graduate students: Degree plans attached as PDFs. Our MA program requires a thesis or a report:

We are working on adding a WGS PhD program. As is, many of our MA students go on to PhD programs in other departments at UT or at our peer institutions.
