Job Description:

The Department of Economics invites applications for several tenure-track and tenured positions (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor) that will be available beginning Fall 2019. Applicants from all fields will be considered. Appointees are expected to engage in high quality research/scholarly activities and be effective teachers at the graduate and undergraduate levels, direct graduate research, and exhibit a commitment to service to the department, college, and university.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or expect it by August 2019 for tenure-track positions; applicants for tenured positions must hold a Ph.D. and must have a demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching. Salary is highly competitive and dependent upon qualifications and experience. Position funding is pending budgetary approval. Job Description:

The Department of Economics seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/non-tenured positions to teach undergraduate and graduate courses. Positions are not available every semester and are contingent upon student enrollment and the availability of funding. Appointments are usually made on a semester-by-semester basis, though sometimes there is departmental need for an annual appointment. Positions are renewable annually; contingent upon budgetary funding and performance. Appointees are expected to be excellent classroom teachers, engaged in scholarly activities and service.

QualificationsApplicants must hold a PhD in Economics. Salary is highly competitive and dependent upon qualifications and experience. Background check will be conducted for finalists. Position funding is pending budgetary approval, course availability and enrollment
