The Critical Reader's Toolkit was compiled by faculty members of the Department of English who have taught our flagship undergraduate course, E 316 Masterworks of Literature, for many years. Designed to offer a transparent, transferable, and scalable approach to close-reading in entry-level literature courses, it consists of a pedagogical tool, a Canvas-based implementation, and a suite of short instructional videos.
