Daniela Cos

 

Daniela Cos graduated with Honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a double major in International Relations and Italian Studies, with a certificate in Business & Public Policy and a minor in European Studies. She wrote two honors theses for each major - the first about the role of perceived national identity as a market barrier-to-exit looking at the automotive industry after Brexit and the second on the role of women as agents of public perception in the Sicilian Mafia (written in Italian). She was nominated by the University of Texas for both the Rhodes Scholarship and the Marshall Scholarship. Daniela was selected as a Dean’s Distinguished Graduate and her name is engraved on the wall of Gebauer Building. She was the president of the Circolo Italiano for two terms, a participant in the Rome Study Program-2017 and a wonderful “Figliastra” in the play Six Characters in Search of An Author (Italian Drama Workshop, 2017). After a summer spent as a Global Client Group Intern with Dimensional Fund Advisors, she is currently attending the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Dr. Peyton Perez

Peyton Perez

French Studies graduate, Peyton Perez (class of 2016), just earned her Doctor of Education in General Education from Northcentral University.  Her research focuses on the effects of the pandemic on the executive function of school-age children.  She currently teaches 4th grade at Hemphill Elementary in Kyle.  She plans to continue teaching while also pursuing equity consulting.
