Italians in Texas Project

"Italians in Texas” is a collaborative oral history project that studies the experiences of Italians and Italian Americans in Texas in the 20th century. For this project, we will interview Italians and Italian Americans who grew up and/or live in Texas to record their testimonies. We will specifically target individuals with extended family histories in the state, so that to collect both first-hand memories and by proxy. The goal is to collect primary sources that can be used by historians to study the ethnic experiences of Italians and Italian Americans in Texas.
