This facility concentrates on water analysis and Isotope Dating on sediments. Pb210 dating can be used to estimate accretion rates. Alpha Spectrometry, performed with an 8 counters Alpha Spectrometer ORTEC Octete Plus, is used to the analysis. Physical-chemical analyses of water and determinations of suspended sediment concentration-SSC are conducted with Millipore Filtering System.
