Geography Minor Requirements

If you are looking into getting a minor in Geography, the department offers a transcript-recognized minor for students. The Geography Minor provides a broad education consisting of Physical and Human Geography in addition to Geographical Technology and Methodology.

Requirements for Geography Minor (2018-20 catalog through 2024-26 Catalog):

One from: GRG 401C or GRG 301K
GRG 305
One from: GRG 410C or GRG 460G or GRG 462K
Six additional hours of upper-division Geography (GRG) courses

The Geography major requires students to also complete a transcript-recognized minor or certificate

Requirements range from 15 - 24 hours depending on the certificate or minor
