Geography Society
Our department has ties to two Geography clubs: The Geography Society and the Environmental Justice Collective.
The University of Texas Geography Society is an undergraduate student group dedicated to providing a fun social outlet for students interested in geography. It provides support for participation in undergraduate research, professional development through speaker series, K-12 educational outreach, workshops, internship info, volunteer opportunities, and fun camping trips.
This club is currently seeking new leadership, reach out to our departmental chair if you would like to be involved or take the lead!
The Environmental Justice Collective is an undergraduate student group engaging students in local social and environmental projects. They combine UT student education into pressing environmental issues, with volunteer work in the Austin community.
