Adding the Government Major

College of Liberal Arts

Theo, COLA's mascot, explores one of the many fields of government studied by department undergraduates.


To apply to the Government Major:

  • Watch the video presentation below.
  • Click the "Major Change/Add Form" button at the bottom of this page.

You will be required to complete a quiz based off of the information covered in the video presentation. Once processed, you will receive an email with more information about when the major change will take effect.

We will process applications on/around the 8th class day, the midsemester deadline, and the last class day. 

Note: We can only meet with prospective majors *after* they have submitted the Qualtrics form and during non-high traffic times. If you are not a current major and book with us during registration or the first 6 class days, we will cancel your advising appointment.
