Courses

The following list aims to include all the courses offered at UT Austin in History or Philosophy of Science, Technology, or Medicine in the last ten years. Some of the courses listed are not presently taught, although they might be taught again in the future. Most of the following courses count toward the Undergraduate Certificate Program in HPS

Note: In the list below, the courses marked with an asterisk (*) have been approved to count toward the HPS Certificate. Courses without an asterisk have NOT been approved for the HPS Certificate. Periodically, the HPS Director identifies courses that might well count toward the Certificate, and submits them to be considered for approval by the College of Liberal Arts. (However, certain factors prevent some courses from being included. Yet the list of HPS Certificate courses grows over time. Some of the courses marked without * might eventually be approved for the HPS Certificate.)
