Biography


Brad Love is associate director of the Center for Health Communications and an associate professor in the School of Advertisting and Public Relations.  His primary research interests include investigating the persuasive capabilities of mass media, particularly as applied to improving psychosocial outcomes for young adults affected by cancer. Love's research has appeared in Journalism and Mass Communication Quarterly, the Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication, the Journal of Postgraduate Medicine, and Disease Management and Health Outcomes. His teaching has been recognized with a range of awards from the college to national levels.
