DH Training Workshops
The 2025-26 Digital Humanities Training Workshops application is open!
We are excited to announce that the application for the 2025-26 Digital Humanities Training Workshops is now open! This program is designed to support faculty members teaching a course in the current academic year who are interested in running interdisciplinary training sessions for collaborative teams.
Applicants must a faculty members teaching a course in the current academic year.
Program Plan: 2025-2026 DH Training Workshops
- Purpose: Digital Humanities Training Workshops support faculty who wish to run interdisciplinary training sessions for collaborative teams.
- Structure: Sessions (at least 3-4 per semester) may include outside speakers for teaching via Zoom; funds are provided from the lecture endowments.
- Funding: Funding requests include $3,000 per year with the possibility of continuation. In the summer, funding can help defray the costs of preparing a workshop series.
- Goals: Encourage cross-university collaboration, offer support for new methodologies, and facilitate collaborative extramural funding activities.
Application Process:
The application requires the following details:
- Title of the proposed Training program
- A brief explanation of the training focus and goals (including its relationship to Digital Humanities)
- Provisional plan for sessions (frequency, sample agendas, etc.)
- Description of potential audience
- A brief budget of plan to use the funds
- Additional information (optional)
Timeline:
- March 15, 2025 Application deadline. Please complete the DH Training Workshops Application Form.
- April 1, 2025: Decision notifications sent to applicants.
