Intersectional Humanities Graduate Research Working Groups
Join a vibrant community of scholars dedicated to reshaping the academic landscape through intersectional research. Our IHI Working Groups are a hub for graduate students from diverse departmental backgrounds, united in their pursuit of innovative projects that push the boundaries of humanities research.
IHI Working Groups aim to unite graduate students from various departments to discuss and strategize on advancing their projects. These groups help students prepare for job talks, publications, or project completion. Dr. González-Martin will moderate and facilitate discussions on intersectional methods and opportunities. Each student will set a specific goal for their time in the group. By the end of the semester, students will report their progress and present a deliverable to the IHI.
Under the expert guidance of Dr. González-Martin, these groups provide a supportive environment for students to:
- Engage in meaningful dialogue across disciplines
- Develop strategies for advancing their research
- Gain insights into intersectional methods and their applications
- Prepare for job talks, publications, and dissertation completion
Each member sets up personalized goals and works collaboratively to achieve them. As the semester concludes, students present their progress, showcase their contributions to the field, and deliver tangible work to the IHI. Embrace the opportunity to transform your research and forge lasting connections.
