The Humanities Institute (HI) at the University of Texas at Austin is the go-to hub for creating and sustaining humanities research at UT. We help researchers secure adn manage top-tier grants, fostering innovative projects across the university.
We support and showcase research involivng humanities-centered research involving faculty, students, and staff offering guidance, funding opportunities, and collaboration. Our key initiaties include AI+Science and Culture (AISCI), Digital Humanities (IDH), and Intersectional Humanities initiative (IHI). Join us in advancing the humanities.

Artificial Intelligence, Science, and Culture Initiative (AISCI)
The Artificial Intelligence, Science, and Culture Initiative (AISCI) serves as a hub for humanistic and humanistically led collaborative projects devoted to better understanding the social, political, ethical, and cultural dimensions of science, technology, health, and the environment.
Digital Humanities
(IDH)
The Initiative Digitial Humanities aims to support and connect Digital Humanities research through consultation, seed and bridge funding, grant writing and management support, and coordinated programming, including discussion groups and a lecture series.
