The Humanities Institute (HI) at the University of Texas at Austin is the central hub for fostering and sustaining humanities research at UT. We assist researchers in securing and managing top-tier grants, promoting innovative projects across the university for faculty and students.
We support and showcase humanities-centered research involving faculty, students, and staff by offering guidance, funding opportunities, and collaboration.
Our three key initiatives are AI+Science and Culture (AISCI), Digital Humanities (IDH), and the Intersectional Humanities Initiative (IHI).
