HI Research Laboratories Catalyst Program (LCP) is a three-year initiative that provides structured support to launch collaborative, interdisciplinary, and experimental humanities research laboratories. Each supported lab centers on a unifying theme within the humanities, includes tenure-line faculty from more than one academic unit, and is directed by one or more tenured faculty members from the College of Liberal Arts at The University of Texas. Lab leaders cultivate partnerships with institutions at both the national and international levels and pursue external funding to continue their work after the initial three-year term supported by HI.
