Nick earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from Michigan State University in 2014, and conducted research about false memory and social media in the Sleep and Learning Lab under the supervision of Dr. Kimberly Fenn. He is currently a third year graduate student working with Dr. David Schnyer in the Cognitive Neuroscience Lab. His current research focuses on false memory and source memory, specifically investigating effects of emotional valence and memory in individuals with depressive symptoms, and memory for narrative learning. Nick is interested in psychophysiological techniques like EEG to understand memory, and he conducts fMRI sessions with individuals with traumatic brain injuries.
