Freshman and Transfer Admission

To declare IRG as your major when you first enter UT as a freshman or transfer student, you must indicate INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS AND GLOBAL STUDIES as your first choice major on your UT application form.

Upon admission as an IRG major:

1. Plan to attend new student orientation the summer before you begin your studies.
2. Attend the IRG group advising session during orientation
3. Review IRG Program Overview
4. Review IRG study abroad requirements
