Community Engagement

At the center of everything we do is the community in which we live and work. The Initiative for Law, Societies, and Justice fosters impactful community partnerships that bridge academic research with real-world application. ILSJ hosts regular community conversations to better understand the needs and interests in our local community. Additionally, we partner with a number of community organizations to co-create research and educational programs to advance equity in access to safety and justice. These partnerships enable students and faculty to engage in practical experiences, contribute to policy development, and support community-driven solutions, creating a dynamic synergy between the university and the broader community.
