Meet the Advisors
The ILSJ aims to facilitate and catalyze collaborations to develop and share expertise across campus and the surrounding community and works to support and build partnerships to advance and inform research, practice, and policy. The ILSJ has faculty, postdoctoral, student, and staff affiliates from 12 Colleges, Schools, and Units (CSUs). Faculty and postdoctoral affiliates are eligible for all available supports and services such as small grants; student research support; assistance with grant submission and administration; assistance with room reservations; assistance with hiring and on-boarding of student and community fellows; data and technical advice; and publicity. Over the past two year, the Initiative has directly involved 56 faculty affiliates, 10 postdoctoral scholars, 73 graduate and undergraduate students, and dozens of people from the surrounding community in events and activities. Nearly 100 additional graduate and undergraduate students have participated in Initiative-related research projects, including community-based collaborations.
