Fun Fact: I enjoy juggling!
Why did you join LAH?: I joined the Liberal Arts Honors program (LAH) to be part of a smaller community within the large University of Texas (UT) campus. I was looking for smaller honors classes where professors could get to know me and where I could meet students who share similar interests. It was important to me to be in an honors program that would allow me to strengthen my writing skills and provide access to a dedicated academic advisor supporting my goals.
What’s your favorite part of being in LAH?: My favorite part of LAH is serving as a student ambassador and meeting prospective high school students like you who are interested in applying to the program. I am grateful for LAH because it has given me access to smaller class sizes as well as excellent professors and advisors who not only teach but also support me. I love the friendliness of the LAH community, which inspired me to start the LAH women’s intramural volleyball team—an experience I deeply enjoyed.
