Constitutional Thinking

The Constitutional Thinking book series, published by the University Press of Kansas, was founded by University of Texas at Austin faculty members Jeffrey Tulis of the Government Department and Sanford Levinson of the Law School. The series is co-edited by Jeffrey Tulis (University of Texas), Sanford Levinson (University of Texas), Emily Zackin (Johns Hopkins University), and Mariah Zeisberg (University of Michigan).

Books in the series develop constitutional theory beyond legalistic concerns by examining such matters as institutional development, public policy, and political behavior, culture, and theory. The editorial approach, then, favors a constitutional theory embracing the full range of activities relevant to the making, maintenance, and reform of constitutions and constitutional cultures.
