Transgender Feminisms Monthly Reading Group

College of Liberal Arts

This caption describes the image above.

The Transgender Feminisms Reading Group began in March 2018. Since then, the group has met every month to discuss trans history and its sometimes tenuous relation to mainstream & radical feminisms, commiserate about trans experience in a cissexist world, and dream about our trans futures. The group was founded by Grayson Hunt, and is led today by three trans/queer graduate students: Ipek Sahinler, Isadora Harel Dumont and Atalia Israeli-Nevo. It's open to all, and centers the voices and experiences of trans and queer people. In the 2022-23 academic year, we meet at the Gender and Sexuality Center (GSC) at UT Austin, located at the William C. Powers, Jr. Student Activity Center (WCP), Suite 2.112.
