Signed Language Lab

In our lab, we work on questions about linguistic theory, language usage, and the linguistic development of deaf children. Our current projects include: developmental signed language disorders, pronominal systems in signed languages the management of pronouns in signed-spoken language interpretation, literacy development as it accompanies ASL first language acquisition, and the interaction of language and gesture.
