The Latino Research Institute (LRI) is a research-focused entity within the College of Liberal Arts.
LRI represents distinguished faculty across UT colleges/schools and departments who are advancing knowledge and addressing critical issues affecting Latino populations.
What We Do
The mission of the Latino Research Institute is to cultivate a community of engaged scholars producing interdisciplinary research that informs policy and actions to enhance the lives of Latinos and all communities. LRI is dedicated to strengthening the student experience and supporting faculty excellence.
