Applicant Criteria

• Doctoral students must have advanced to candidacy within the last three years
• Applicants must have collected data on an intersectional qualitative research project
• Applicants must be currently enrolled in an academic program at a U.S. accredited institution
• The Institute is open to all applicants regardless of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, or disability

Application: 

• Complete Application Form 
• Curriculum Vitae
• Letter of support on official letterhead from your dissertation chair. This letter should confirm that your data will be ready for analysis and interpretation prior to your arrival at IQRMI-ADS.
• A brief biographical statement (150 words or less)
• Description of your intersectional qualitative research project (500 words or less) that addresses the following:
  • The purpose of your research, including a description of how your project integrates intersectionality.
  • The data available to complete analysis and write-up results at IQRMI-ADS. Include a description of the sample and the type of qualitative or mixed methods data, including interviews, focus groups, or observation data collected.
  • The additional skills you seek at IQRMI-ADS that can help you to complete your doctoral program.
