Undergraduate Researchers
Benefits and Activities
- Mentorship from experienced researchers
- Hands-on experience with active research projects
- Mentor support with developing original research
- Training in research methods, including community-based approaches
- Professional development workshops
- $750 per semester
Eligibility and Expectations
- Be a sophomore, junior or senior during the 2025/2026 academic year
- Minimum 2.7 GPA and good academic standing
- Commit 10-15 hours weekly for research activities (10/week in the fall, 15/week in the spring)
- Participate in four 60-minute program workshops throughout the year
- Attend regular meetings with research mentor
- Attend kick-off lunch, mid-year check-in, and end-of-program celebration
