Salud San Antonio!

Project summary:

Salud San Antonio! is an evidence-based, cancer prevention services program that aimed to increase screening rates and knowledge of breast, cervical, and colorectal cancer among Latino men and women in 10 zip codes in San Antonio. Group education sessions were facilitated by community health educators (promotores). After education sessions, promotoras referred participants for cancer screening and provided additional services (e.g., travel assistance, interpretation of medical forms).
