Civic Engagement

LRI research on civic engagement is at the forefront of scholarship on democratic participation, political behavior, and representation among Latino populations. Affiliates employ advanced quantitative and qualitative methods, including original survey data and mixed-methods designs, to examine voting, mobilization, public opinion, and institutional trust. Collectively, this research informs evidence-based strategies to expand civic participation, enhance representation, and strengthen democratic institutions of that serve rapidly growing and diverse populations.
