Climate

LRI’s climate adaptation research integrates environmental policy, urban and regional planning, public health, and social science research to examine how communities experience and respond to climate-related risks. Affiliates focus on vulnerability, resilience, and adaptation in the context of extreme weather and long-term environmental change, emphasizing community-informed approaches. This work is central in to informing strategies that mitigate risk, improve preparedness, and promote sustainable and resilient communities across Texas and globally.
