Community

LRI’s community-focused research leverages UT Austin’s spanning broad network of experts to examine how place, institutional structures, and social networks shape opportunity, resilience, and well-being in Latino communities. Affiliates conduct community-engaged and participatory research that centers lived experience, while advancing scholarship on housing, education, migration, and economic mobility. By partnering with community organizations, this work informs interventions and policy solutions that promote inclusive growth, strengthen community capacity, and foster sustainable communities.
