Summer Prep: Graduate Student Handbooks, Degree Requirements, and Web Content

Students are required to familiarize themselves with the Graduate Handbook, in addition to the web content related to their degrees (MELC; MES) and Departmental, Center, College, Graduate School, and University policies, procedures, and requirements. While the Graduate Advisor and Graduate Coordinator are valuable resources for information on academic issues, administrative procedures, and university and departmental policy; students are, however, responsible for ensuring that they act within the rules and regulations of the department, college, and university; meet all deadlines; and fulfill the requirements of the degree program.

It is the student's responsibility to communicate regularly with their Supervisors, Committee Members, Instructors, the Graduate Advisor and Graduate Program Coordinator about academic matters.
