The Department of Middle Eastern Studies at The University of Texas at Austin is proud to offer the Arabic Summer Institute (ASI), a completely virtual intensive language program that allows students to complete a year of Arabic training in 10 short weeks. Classes are offered at the Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels.

In addition to coursework, ASI students engage in weekly cultural workshops, which include film-screenings, cooking demonstrations, and guest lectures. These activities, combined with instruction from our highly-rated faculty, give students a comprehensive learning experience from the comfort of their own home.
