Mess Night

The battalion holds a Mess Night or Dining-In each spring.  This is to foster comaraderie and Esprit de Corps within the senior and junior classes and the active duty personnel.  It is a formal function where future officers can learn and practice proper etiquette.  It is a function which is exclusive to the UT NROTC members in order to foster the "wardroom" mentality among upperclassmen.  It is an evolution that underclassmen look forward to when they reach their senior and junior years.
