People's Community Clinic

Plan II offers two paid internship positions at the People's Community Clinic, located off campus in downtown Austin. The mission of People’s Community Clinic is to improve the health of medically underserved and uninsured Central Texans by providing high quality, affordable health care with dignity and respect.

The internship positions will be administrative and operational roles, with opportunities to engage with healthcare professionals, administrative staff, and patients in a clinical setting.

Application Requirements

All application materials must be submitted with the applicant's first and last name in the file name of each document. Materials submitted without the applicant's name clearly indicated in the file name will not be considered.

• Cover letter of no more than a page describing your demonstrated commitment to healthcare in the Austin community and why you are interested in this internship
• Résumé (please include GPA, your major/academic pursuits, and employment history)
• One UT recommendation. Students are invited to also submit a second, optional recommendation from an individual external to UT if they deem it appropriate. A second recommendation is not required. (Recommenders may submit letters to the link below, with the student's name in the title of the document)
