Welcome to the PRC
The Population Research Center (PRC) at the University of Texas at Austin facilitates and supports cutting-edge research that takes a population-level approach to understanding social problems and to promoting human health and well-being. The PRC cultivates an interdisciplinary and collaborative research community and provides outstanding infrastructure to support and promote research by our faculty, postdocs, and graduate students. Our research coalescences around five thematic areas: Biosocial Processes; Reproductive Health and Fertility; Families and Development; Contexts, Networks, and Institutions; and Population Change.
