Hyungmin (Min) Cha is a social demographer who takes a demographic and life-course approach to the study of social stratification. His research focuses on structural determinants of health across the life course with a particular emphasis on the influence of socioeconomic status on health and the blending of quantitative and demographic methods. His main research areas are gender, family and health contributing to population-level inequalities (e.g., social class and intergenerational mobility).
