PRC Graduate Student Trainee



Minle is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Sociology and a graduate student trainee in the Population Research Center. Her research interests are marriage/marital quality, parenthood, health, and quantitative methods. Specifically, her research focuses on structural and contextual determinants of marital quality and how marriage and parenthood shape individual’s mental and physical health from the life course perspective.

She has worked as a research assistant for Dr. Debra Umberson’s Health and Relationships Project, funded by the National Institute for Aging.

She earned her M.A. in Sociology from Purdue University and M.S. in Statistic at the University of Texas at Austin.
