Join us this Friday as the PRC welcomes two guest speakers.

PRC Brown Bag: John Santelli from Columbia University will present “Girls’ access to education and declining teen pregnancy, HIV incidence, and child marriage: 25 year trends in rural Uganda.” 

Dr. John Santelli is a Professor of Population and Family Health and Pediatrics and was a past chair of the Department of Population and Family Health at the Mailman School from 2004-2016.

The PRC welcomes David Chae from the Department of Human Development and Family Sciences at Auburn University. He will present "Causes of Death: Social Inequities and Racial Disparities in Health."

Dr. Chae's research focuses on the biopsychosocial epidemiology of health inequities and discrimination. He studies the interplay between social context, developmental period, behavior, and biology in relation to susceptibility to and progression of diseases.
