Development is a process that unfolds across the lifespan, that is nested within family relationships, and that can be affected by transitions and environmental exposures. PRC Faculty Scholars aim to characterize the processes of family formation and instability, to understand how individual and family transitions affect development, to examine how both positive and negative early exposures impact later development, and to identify determinants of healthy developmental trajectories.
