Population Health and Well-Being
Physical and mental health are the product of complex interactions among biological, social, and environmental factors. PRC Faculty Scholars study patterns of population or subpopulation growth, population or subpopulation decline, population distribution, population stratification, migration, disease incidence and prevalence, migration, and climate-induced population change. PRC Faculty Scholars are committed to biosocial approaches in order to promote health, to prevent disease, and to reduce health disparities tied to gender, race, ethnicity, immigrant status, or sexual orientation.
