The UT Austin Behavioral Science Colloquium is a new speaker series co-sponsored by the Department of Marketing at McCombs and the Department of Psychology in the College of Liberal Arts. It is organized by Professors Amit Kumar and Sam Gosling.
In line with the University’s broader goals, the hope is to build bridges between departments and to make connections among scholars across campus who may not otherwise interact via existing opportunities.

Mike Norton is the Harold M. Brierely Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School. He received his B.A. from Williams College, his Ph.D. in Psychology from Princeton University, and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at MIT Sloan. His research interests include prosocial behavior, inequality, attitude formation, and he is co-author of the book Happy Money (Simon & Schuster).
