Registration FAQs

Registration advising is NOT required for psychology majors. Still want advising? Go here first.  Here’s how you can prepare yourself for registration!
1. Check your Registration Information Sheet (RIS) for your registration times and any holds; for questions about how access times are assigned, click here.
2. Review your Degree Audit to see which requirements you lack. Click ‘Run your Degree Audit.’
3. Look at your degree plan
4. Look at the Summer 2024 and Fall 2024 course schedules, for class options. Published March 04, 2024.
5. Check prerequisites by clicking on the unique number (blue 5-digit # on course schedule). The Psychology Department strictly enforces pre-requisites for psychology courses.

Registration Advising Options

If you have a quick, simple question, please first email your assigned advisor.

Advisors will reply in 2-3 business days. If your concerns warrant an appointment, your advisor will let you know.

Psychology majors may meet with any available psychology advisor.

  • If there is a specific advisor a psychology major enjoys working with, they are welcome to email quick questions to that advisor directly.
  • If a psychology major has NOT yet worked with a specific advisor or does not have a specific advisor preference, they are welcome to email quick questions to the advisor assigned to the section of the alphabet that contains their last name (see below).
  • Psychology advisors make every effort to answer email correspondence in a timely manner. Please do not email the same question to multiple advisors.
